The FREE Swiss Army Knife of Feeds

	Welcome Feederator is a RSS/Atom tool with many features that other tools don't offer you. Some of them are described below. 	Feed Reader First of all, Feederator allows you to read feeds. If you like what you read you can tell your friends on Facebook or Twitter about it. Preview thumbnails give you an impression how the referred web site looks like and if it's worth to read the whole article.
	Enriching Feeds Feederator automatically adds pictures and background information to the feed. This can be a preview thumbnail of the website referred by the post. In case of Download Feeds this can be movie fan art, plots and user ratings as well. Have a look at the screenshots to see, what enrichment means.
	RSS to XMPP Bridge XMPP is the protocol used for Google Talk and other instant messaging networks. If you don't want to have your browser open all the time, Feederator can notify you about new posts using XMPP. You can select for which subscription you want to be notified.
	Feed Proxy But Feederator is more than that. You can use Feederator as a proxy between the source of the feed and whatever consumer is going to read your feed. This allows you to create new feeds by filtering, aggregating or authoring items from one or multiple sources. Whereas most feed readers are only consumers, Feederator is also a producer!
	Scenario 1 Feederator works well together with various download concepts, such as torrent or usenet. First you enter the feed url of your favorite Download site in Feederator. Feederator will start reading those feeds and display them in its web interface. Instead of connecting your downloader directly with the download feed you subscribe to your new feed address given by Feederator. From now on Feederator acts as a proxy and only lets pass what you tell it to. You like that movie? Just click 'publish' and it will appear in your download queue. 	Scenario 2 One of our users works for a radio station that publishes its shows as podcasts. He uses Feederator to select the best shows from the last week and to create a Best-Of podcast feed. Feederator makes this a breeze!
